Asst. Prof. Dr. İsmail ASLAN

He completed his military service as a Health Assessment Officer in Ankara between 2005 and 2006. In 2007, he started as a Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at Yeditepe University Faculty of Pharmacy and completed his master's degree in Cosmetology on liposome systems containing hyaluronic acid and his thesis in 2010.

She held various positions at Yeditepe University between 2007 and 2016. In addition to her academic duties, she also served administratively in the establishment of the Cosmetics Research and Production Unit, serving as production manager and unit coordinator, respectively.

He holds a master's degree in Business Administration, MBA, Strategic Management, and Leadership. He completed his doctoral studies at the Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, working on liposome delivery systems for the treatment of traumatic brain injury.

She participated in the In-Cosmetics and Cosmoprof cosmetics organizations held in Europe and various countries around the world between 2008 and 2019. She has given training and conferences in more than 20 countries, including the USA, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the Philippines, and the UK.

Having developed over 100 liposomal formulations by participating in trainings held at different times in the field of Magistral Pharmacy-Compounding Pharmacy in San Diego, USA, İsmail Aslan's liposomal resveratrol raw material developed in 2015 was represented on behalf of Turkey in the Innovation Zone among the world's top 60 cosmetic raw materials.

She has provided training in Dermacosmetics to cosmetics professionals from Turkey and abroad. Throughout her academic career, she has played an active role in the formulation design of over 5,000 R&D formulation studies and over 300 completed professional cosmetic products.

İsmail Aslan has given numerous oral presentations at cosmetics congresses and pharmaceutical technology, including six award-winning studies on liposomes. He has numerous national and international scientific articles, citations, book translations, and patents. He has been working at the Health Sciences University since 2017 and has been a faculty member in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Vice Dean of the Hamidiye Faculty of Pharmacy since 2020. He is a member of the board of directors of SFA R&D, which produces domestically produced probiotics and drug-food-cosmetic delivery systems in the Teknopark Istanbul and Teknopol Istanbul Technology Development Zones within the framework of University-Industry Collaborations.
